Overview The Physician Recruiter will be handling full cycle recruitment for medical providers including physicians, medical directors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. This role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers, ensuring timely and effective sourcing, screening, and onboarding of top-tier clinical talent. The recruiter will manage vacancies, build candidate pipelines, and support the organization’s provider staffing goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Consults with leadership team to determine projected needs for provider staffing over the coming year. Plans recruiting program based on general organizational needs and specialized qualifications for anticipated positions.
Posts jobs, reviews CVs and resumes, sources, and screens candidates for medical providers.
Schedules interviews with the candidates and hiring managers, assists during the interviews as needed.
Conducts pre-employment screenings such as medical license lookups, OIG search, proof of education checks, and employment history/reference checks.
Attends job fairs and arranges with college, residency program administrators, and school placement offices for on-campus interview dates.
Organize candidate site visits, including tours and interviews with key stakeholders such as the Chief Medical Officer, COO, CEO, and medical directors.
Build and maintain relationships within the medical community through active participation in professional associations.
Draft and manage offer letters and contract agreements as needed.
Maintain organized and up-to-date candidate pipelines and recruitment tracking systems.
Provide regular updates to hiring managers and leadership during weekly recruitment meetings.
Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to continuously improve recruitment processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bilingual (English/Spanish), highly preferred.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required; healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
Prior experience recruiting medical providers is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Healthcare or related field is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to travel to Texas, South and Central Florida occasionally.
