This role partners closely with the CEO, COO, the senior medical leader, and corporate leadership to translate strategy into execution, drive financial and operational performance, and ensure strong alignment between clinical and operational teams. The VP plays a critical role in scaling the market through disciplined execution, strong provider relationships, and successful integration of new clinics and providers. Interaction with provider team is critical and will require local travel between clinics.

Position Overview
The VP of Operations, Texas Market (the “VP”) serves as the senior operational leader for Palm’s Texas market, responsible for clinic performance, provider engagement, and execution of market priorities.This role partners closely with the CEO, COO, the senior medical leader, and corporate leadership to translate strategy into execution, drive financial and operational performance, and ensure strong alignment between clinical and operational teams. The VP plays a critical role in scaling the market through disciplined execution, strong provider relationships, and successful integration of new clinics and providers. Interaction with provider team is critical and will require local travel between clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Market Performance
- Lead day-to-day operations across all Texas clinics, ensuring performance across access, productivity, staffing, and patient experience
- Provide leadership and development to regional staff and clinic teams, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and operating cadence
- Identify performance gaps and implement operational improvements to drive consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the market
Financial Performance & Market P&L
- Partner with the COO and CEO to drive overall Texas market financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and clinic-level profitability
- Translate financial goals into actionable plans and hold teams accountable for execution
- Monitor performance trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve margins and efficiency
Provider Performance & Engagement
- Key leader responsible for driving provider performance, engagement, and accountability
- Partner closely with the Market medical leader, with shared accountability for provider outcomes across quality, productivity, and growth
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with providers and clinic administrators, ensuring alignment between operational support and clinical expectations
- Actively address performance gaps and ensure providers are supported with appropriate staffing, workflows, and infrastructure
Revenue Cycle & Operational Alignment
- Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership to ensure strong alignment between clinic operations and billing performance
- Drive accountability at the clinic level for front-end execution, documentation quality, and charge capture
- Support initiatives that improve cash flow, reduce denials, and strengthen overall revenue integrity
Market Growth, Business Development & Integration
- Partner with Business Development to support execution of growth initiatives, including new clinic development and acquisitions
- Maintain a strong local market presence, building relationships and identifying provider and partnership opportunities
- Support provider recruiting efforts and ensure a strong onboarding experience
- Lead operational integration of new clinics and providers, working closely with corporate teams to ensure successful ramp and performance
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with the COO, CFO, Compliance Officer, and other corporate leaders to align market operations with enterprise priorities
- Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Clinical, HR, and other teams to ensure coordinated execution across the organization
- Serve as the primary operational link between the Texas market and corporate leadership

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or health administration (Master’s preferred)
- 8–12+ years of multi-site healthcare operations leadership, preferably in primary care setting
- Knowledge of E/M coding, CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and Medicare risk adjustment
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationship with providers and clinic staff
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing and achieving financial performance
- Proven ability to create process standardization across multiple sites
- Familiarity with Medicare Advantage and value-based care models
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
First 6 Months – Success Profile
- Establish credibility and strong relationships with providers, directors, and market leadership
- Develop a clear view of clinic-level performance, identifying key gaps in access, productivity, and staffing
- Implement a consistent operating cadence across the market, including KPI reviews and accountability structures
- Partner with the medical leadership to address provider performance variability and improve engagement
- Improve alignment between clinic operations and revenue cycle performance, focusing on front-end execution and documentation
- Support onboarding and integration of new providers and clinics, ensuring strong early performance
- Begin driving measurable improvement in key metrics, including access, provider productivity, and clinic-level financial performance
